The core of Crosspoint’s platform is based on industry standard platforms and systems, based upon an open source core with enterprise grade hardened Unix platform.


Our approach brings about the benefits of a community of thousands of developers with our developed and rigorously tested enterprise level platform.
Clients are hence not locked in to a propriety platform, whilst still enjoying all the advanced features of the latest technology available. This enables the customer to choose from a wide selection of Handsets and Endpoints that support SIP, these include both desk phones, mobile phones and soft phone clients.

Polycom® SoundPoint® IP Backlit Expansion Module 

  • 160x320 pixel graphical grayscale LCD with backlight 
  • 14 illuminated keys configurable as a line appearance or a speed dial with busy lamp field (BLF) 
  • Hot swappable – can be added to or removed from an idle host phone at any time 
  • No extra cables or power supplies are required 
  • Plug-and-play – requires no set-up as power and signaling are provided by the host phone 
  • User-friendly call visualization similar to that on the SoundPoint® IP 650
